Qualifications in Small Animal, Canine, Equine and Wildlife First Aid at Level 3.

Who are these qualifications for?
These qualifications are ideal for learners who have a personal or professional interest in animal first aid. Learners may choose to specialise in small animal, canine, equine or wildlife first aid. These qualifications provide essential life-saving knowledge and skills that can make a critical difference during emergencies when veterinary care may be delayed. The GA Level 3 Award in Small Animal First Aid, GA Level 3 Award in Equine First Aid, and GA Level 3 Award in Canine First Aid - note that certification will expire after three years. After this it needs to be renewed. The GA Level 3 Award in the Principles of Wildlife First Aid does not have an expiry. GA also advises that candidates do annual refresher training to keep up to date with the principles and practical aspects of animal first aid.
