What do these qualifications cover?
These qualifications are suitable for those starting a journey in veterinary care or those who wish to advance their career in an existing role as either a Veterinary Care & Support Assistant, or as a Veterinary Receptionist.
The GA Level 2 Diploma for Veterinary Care Assistants (Small Animals) is endorsed by the Association of Veterinary Animal Care Assistants (AVACA), which provides a wealth of resources for both individual VCAs as well as those who train and support them. Holders of this qualification are entitled to a year's FREE membership with the AVACA. The GA Level 3 Certificate in Veterinary Reception Skills has been developed in partnership with the British Veterinary Receptionist Association (BVRA).
