Who is this Qualification for?

This Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care qualification is aimed at meeting the needs of learners, employers and institutes of Higher Education by providing a high quality qualification which develops the learner's academic and professional development within the health and social care sector. This GA qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of key principles in health and social care, including communication skills, person-centred care, and professional development. Learners will also develop their knowledge and understanding of health and social care regulation, principles and values, as well as health & safety, wellbeing and sustainability in health and social care settings. This qualification may permit successful learners to enter employment as a care assistant, healthcare assistant or senior support worker. It may also permit access to higher education courses in a related subject area.
