Who are these Business Management qualifications for?

These qualifications are aimed at meeting the needs of candidates, employers and institutes of Higher Education by providing high quality qualifications which develop the candidate’s academic and professional development within the business sector. At Level 3, the GA Business Management qualification will provide learners with the introductory knowledge and understanding of key business principles including using resources in business, business marketing, people management, business communication and health and safety. At Level 4, the GA Business Management qualification will provide learners with knowledge and understanding of a wide range of business skills, including the principles of communication in the workplace, the standards expected in a business environment, business management strategies, the function and importance of business policies and procedures, working both independently and as a part of team, customer relationships, problem solving, business growth, and the use of data in business decision making. At Level 5, the GA Business Management qualification will provide learners with knowledge and understanding of a wide range of business skills, including the principles of business planning, decision-making and leadership, the principles of how to lead and manage teams effectively in a workplace, customer service, human resources management and the principles of marketing. These qualifications may also permit successful candidates to enter higher education in a related subject area.
